Artwork guidelines
Send what you have. We check every file.
Three ways to send art on every product: upload a print-ready file, upload what you have and add our design service, or send it after you order. Whatever you send, a person looks at it before it prints.
File types
Best: vector PDF, AI, EPS, or SVG with fonts outlined.
Good: PNG, TIFF, or JPG at full size, 150 dpi or higher for large format, 300 dpi for small prints.
Ask first: Word, PowerPoint, Canva exports, screenshots. We can often work with them.
Size, bleed, safe zone
Build the file at the finished size you ordered. Add 0.125 in of bleed on every edge and keep text 0.125 in inside the edge (0.5 in on banners with hems). Yard signs on stakes: keep the bottom 1 in clear.
Color
We print full color. Screens show color differently than print, so if a color has to match your brand, send the Pantone or a sample and we check it before the job runs. Reorders are printed with the same profile as the last run.
Readability
One inch of letter height for every ten feet of viewing distance. Service first, phone number twice as big as you think, fewer words than you want. We flag anything that will be hard to read from the road.
Die-cut and lettering
For die-cut decals and cut vinyl lettering we need vector art or a clean, high-contrast image we can trace. Letters under half an inch tall cannot be cut.
Need design help?
Design work is a paid service, a flat fee per order shown on each product page. Pick "Upload what I have and add design service" on the product page, or send us a note. We lay it out from your logo and text, send a proof, and you approve before it prints.
Low-resolution files
We print what you approve. If your file is pixelated or blurry, the print will be too, and we cannot take that back after you approve the proof. Ask before you approve, or add the design service and we rebuild it.
