PVC is the step up from foam board, a rigid plastic sheet with a smooth, matte-white face. Contractors, offices, and restaurants use it for wall signs, directional signs, and menu boards that need to last. It mounts flat to the wall with screws or mounting tape. Printed with UV gel ink here at 243 Union Blvd and proofed before it prints. Pick it up free or have it shipped.

How long it lasts
PVC is a rigid plastic, so it will not dent, crease, or soak up moisture like foam board. Indoors it holds up for years and will not fade or warp in a season. It can go outside in a covered spot. Full sun and heat can bow a 3 mm sheet over time. For a sign that lives outdoors year round, look at our yard signs or metal real estate signs. Pick 6 mm for 36x48 or any sign that hangs from its top edge.
Choosing a size
18x24 suits a hallway or a door. 24x36 reads across a lobby or dining room. 36x48 is for a wall people see from the far side of a space. As a rule, every inch of letter height reads from about ten feet away.

3 mm or 6 mm, which one?
3 mm is the standard and fine for 18x24 and 24x36 on a wall. 6 mm is stiffer, so pick it for 36x48 or any sign hung by grommets. It also feels more substantial in the hand.
Are grommets included?
Yes, free on request, on both thicknesses. We punch two at the top corners with #2 silver nickel grommets. Ask when you order.
Can I get it printed on both sides?
Not on the product page. PVC is normally wall mounted, so one side is standard. If you need two sides, send us a quote request and we price it.
Can you design it for me?
Yes. Design service is a flat fee per order, shown on the page. Add it and we lay out your sign from your logo and text and send a proof. Nothing prints until you approve it.
Can PVC go outside?
In a covered spot, yes. Under a porch roof or an awning it does fine. In full sun and weather, thin PVC can bow and the print fades sooner. For a true outdoor sign, look at our yard signs or metal real estate signs.
